This story is about betray, murder and pain.
Balder had a dream of his own death.

So his mother, Frigg, made every object on every realm vow never hurt Balder.

Yeah!

All objects made this vow except mistletoe.
Frigg had thought it too nonthreatening to bother asking it to make the vow.

Yeah!

Loke wants to kill him! (Loke wants to kill him!)
Loke wants to kill him! (Loke wants to kill him!)
Loke wants to kill him! (Loke wants to kill him!)
Loke wants to kill him! (Loke wants to kill him!)
Loke wants to kill him! (Loke wants to kill him!)
Loke wants to kill him! (Loke wants to kill him!)

But a disturbed mind can devise more ways to hurt that a healthy one.

When Loke knew this he made a magical spear from this plant.
He devised a terrible game:

All the Gods must hurling objects at Balder to see if anyone can touch him.
When no one is looking at him, Loke gives the magic spear to Balder's blind brother:
Hothr and help him to aim at his brother's chest.

The envy rot the best men and makes them the worst demons. Envy turns the courage in fear, reality in false illusions.
